DTU Blue Dot Projects

DTU Blue Dot is for students who want to explore what it’s like to be an engineer while they study. In a Blue Dot project, you collaborate with students across programmes and semesters to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that can be applied in practice. Learn more about the projects and find out how you can get involved.

'Blue Dot' refers to Earth, which from space appears as a small blue dot – fragile, yet incredibly complex.

The same applies to engineering and innovation: The best solutions may seem simple at first glance, but are built on deep expertise, detailed work, and complex understanding.

That is the essence of 'Blue Dot': the ability to see the bigger picture while working closely with the details – and to turn that understanding into solutions that make a real difference for people, society, and our shared planet.
